Central Pacific Bank has promoted Marcella Stroh to senior vice president and senior commercial banking manager. In her position, Stroh manages and services commercial banking clients in Hilo and throughout the Big Island. She is also responsible for developing a motivated and productive sales force.

Stroh has been with Central Pacific Bank since 1969 and has served in various leadership positions such as vice president and senior commercial banking officer, assistant vice president and relationship banking officer, branch manager and internal service coordinator.

Stroh is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison Banking School. She was also recognized as valedictorian for retail banking by the American Institute of Banking. In April 2012, Stroh was awarded Central Pacific Bank’s first leadership award. Stroh is vice chairwoman of Hilo Medical Center, executive secretary of the Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council and Big Island Representative for the American Heart Association. She is a member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce and Business Education Partnership.

Her community involvement extends as chairperson for various local events such as the Hilo Medical Center Foundation Golf Tournament, the 2012 American Heartwalk and Health Fair, and the 2012 American Heart Association Golf Classic
